Hamilton Beach Single Serve Coffee Maker, Flexbrew (49997)Compact Coffeemaker With Style

The Hamilton Beach Flexbrew Single Serve Coffeemaker uses a coffee (or travel your mug) and single serve K-cups or ground coffee.

  • Versatile: Compatible with any K-Cup pack
  • Option: Regular or bold brew; Bold gives increased extraction and a more flavorful cup
  • Adjustable cup rest for standard cup or travel mug

I really like the slim, modern design of this rig. It’s not obtrusive, and gets the job done with style. And the price is reasonable.

The Hamilton Beach Single Serve FlexBrew is a product that I am happy to review. First thing you will notice after opening the box, is how lightweight the machine is to lift. This makes it easier to move and clean under it. I got it in the bold red color which, matches my Kitchen Aid small appliances so I am thrilled about it being offered in a color. I bought 15 boxes of those and one box of K-cups. The filter type cups work perfectly!
I have been using it for 2-3 weeks now, and have only had a couple glitches of the unit stopping before the cup was full. Once was 1/3, other was 1/2 full. But pushing the start button again finished the process with no problem. My guess would be some grounds got into the upper needle and…
